What if you could nurture and grow your connection to your true self, your inner knowing, the wisdom of the universe?

No Meditation Experience Necessary

Join Dara Wagner, Usui Reiki Master specializing in meditative energy work and other transformative processes, on a weekly journey into the true nature of your inner being. In this introduction to the inner journey you’ll be led gently, through guided meditation, into your inner world. No experience in meditation is necessary. Well explore techniques for quieting the busy mind and becoming comfortable with imperfection. We will practice the twin arts of allowing and releasing, allowing inner wisdom to arise as what no longer serves is released without struggle. Along the way you’ll gain increasing access to your own true self and inner wisdom.

Pre-Registration Required

Maximum of 14 participants. We suggest that you attend each of the four weekly sessions for maximum benefit, but not required. Feel free to drop in as often as you like.

PRICE: $49 for the 4-week series. $15 per week on a drop in basis.

What to Expect

Each week in this one hour session you’ll experience 30 to 40 minutes of guided meditation followed by journaling or reflection. Time will be available at the end for sharing and questions. You may choose to sit in a chair or lay on a yoga mat during meditation. This is a non-denominational experience meaning no specific spiritual path is followed, highly accessible to all belief systems including atheism.

In these Mindful Photography workshops you’ll use your camera as a tool to quiet the busy mind by focusing on the exquisite beauty of the present moment. While exploring some of the PNW’s most striking scenery, we’ll practice a variety of mindfulness techniques, gently leading you into the art of seeing deeply. You’ll experience both the inner and outer world from a new perspective, leaving with tools that enhance your life and photography.

No Photography Experience Required

Accessible to all levels of photographer, even those who rarely take photos. Cell phone cameras are encouraged! This is NOT a technical “how to use a camera” workshop. It’s about gaining real world techniques to calm the busy mind and be present in the moment, allowing that your photographs will improve organically.

A hidden favorite of birders and wildlife photographers, Spencer Island is one of the best places in the Snohomish River Estuary to view waterfowl and shorebirds. Deer, coyote, river otter, and a host of small mammals and amphibians also inhabit the large island. The island has a trail system that provides scenic views of the wetlands, sloughs, and mountains. Both Mount Baker and Mount Rainier are visible on a clear days.

Edmonds Marina Beach ParkOur August 3rd Event will be at Edmonds Marina Beach Park

This week in the series we will be exploring Edmonds Marina Beach and Off-Leash Dog Park located at 470 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA 98020.

ABOUT: The southernmost park on Edmonds waterfront, Marina Beach and it’s adjacent dog park is one of the best waterfront parks in the area. Not only stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and fascinating marine life at low tide, this park also features some of the most entertaining dog action in the area. For those of you who attend regularly, our segment on observing and photographing dog emotions will be a unique Mindful Lens experience.
